Because Children Matter to God

Awana is THE PREMIER children’s ministry! From August to May, our dynamic Awana program seeks to reach all children with the love of Jesus Christ. Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed", a message taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. The program starts at 6:30 every Wednesday night and features something different and exciting each week in order to enhance the kids’ experience. Children have a great time learning about the love of Christ through games, stories and Bible verse memorization; and each week ends with excitement at the Awards Ceremony, which begins at 8:00pm.

Awana focuses on combining the spiritual development of our children with their natural desire to have fun. We wrap up scripture memory, games and bible stories together with themed nights and special events to make this an evening children beg to come to! If your child is PreK3 up to 5th grade we have a club for them:

• Awana Puggles is an enriching program for your pre-Cubbies kids (usually older 2 and younger 3 year olds) that presents basic biblical concepts.
• The Cubbies are our preschoolers who learn scripture through stories, crafts and snacks that are all thematically designed to help the Cubbies hide God’s Word in their hearts.
• Our Sparks are K-2nd Graders that compete on the Awana Game Circle and earn rewards as they learn scripture.
• The Truth & Training kids are 3rd-5th graders that have more intense fun and learn deeper bible truths as they experience Awana.
