1. People matter to God and He wants to have a personal relationship with us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
    John 3:16 KJV
  2. The Bible is God's Word and we will teach it with relevance.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
    Timothy 3:16-17
  3. Prayer is the power behind our ministry.

"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever, Amen."
    Matthew 6:9-13 KJV
  4. Children are our primary focus. We will strengthen our community by strengthening our families.

"Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."
    Psalm 127:1,3 KJV
  5. God has placed us in our community to serve our community. Community agencies are our allies.

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
    Matthew 5:13-16
  6. Life change happens in small groups.

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
    Acts 2:42-47
  7. Every member is a minister.

"It was he who game some to apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up."
    Ephesians 4:11-12

"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering to God's grace in its various forms."
    1 Peter 4:10
  8. We will do ministry with excellence, reflecting the quality of our God.

"Whatever you do, wrk at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men."
    Colossians 3:23
  9. We will step out and take whatever risks are necessary to reach people for Jesus.

"A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, 'Son, your sins are forgiven.'"
    Mark 2:1-5
  10. We will not be an ordinary church. Worship will be fun, upbeat and celebratory.

"These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go with the multitude, leading the procession to the house of God, with shouts of joy and thanksgiving among the festive throng."
    Psalm 4:24
