An Avenue of Worship
Colossians 3:16 says, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
God's word tells us to worship Him in spirit and in truth. We believe that as you are developing and deepening our love for God you will find that a call to worship is a life of obedience through His word. Music is just one avenue of worship. It allows us to express our gratitude to God for all He has done and all He is doing in our lives. He is such a great God! Worship, whether it is through means of singing or serving, should ultimately reflect the desires and motives of our hearts. The Music Ministry here at First Baptist Church Altamonte Springs strives to create an environment that provides an upbeat, joyful, and intimate time of musical worship in order that we might give God the praise and the glory that He so richly deserves.
