February 15th | Revisiting End Times

Dear Church,

Never before in history has there been such a chain of major events signaling the approach of the end. What does the Bible have to say about these events? How do these events affect us? Over the next six weeks we will address the questions that are plaguing the minds of many.

These are exciting times to be sure. When one looks at the climate of the world scene as it relates to the end times, three attitudes emerge: indifference, fear or for many of us – hope! Sit back, buckle up and enjoy the journey as we travel through Daniel to Ezekiel and Matthew through Revelation!

On another note, please set aside Sunday evening, March 1st at 6:00 p.m. for a very special Town Hall meeting. I will be giving you an up to the minute State of the Ministry address. I look forward to sharing my heart with you there! Have an awesome week!

Love,

Pastor Todd

February 8th | In rememberance of Him

Dear Church,

This is a very special day! One, simply because we are meeting together in His name and secondly, because of what we will be commemorating during the service. As we observe communion, it is important to know why we do it. In 1 Corinthians 11:26 it says,

“For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.”

You see, God wants us to remember what he did for on the cross! It was a big deal back then and it’s a big deal now! And he wants us to continue to remember, “until He comes.” This is also a great time for us to reflect on our lives and our standing with Him. In 1 Corinthians 11:28 God emplores us to: “A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup.” It is so cool of God to give us a visual (communion) in helping us stay right with Him. Take a few moments prior to receiving communion and make sure you have everything right with God. Next week we will start our new series – End Times: Revisited. It will be a six-week study on Bible Prophecy, the Middle East and current events! Have a great week church!

Love,

Pastor Todd

February 1st | Time To Get Real

Over the past several weeks we have weeks we have talked A LOT about our physical health: why we should strive to be healthy and who owns our bodies. Today we are going to take a little different twist to health – we’re going to take a spiritual health assessment test. 3 John 2 says:

“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

Did you catch that? God doesn’t want us to enjoy good health at the exclusion of our spiritual health. In fact, he wants our physical health to be representative of our spiritual health. When there is continuity between our physical and spiritual lives balance is accomplished.

Three weeks ago many of you (over 400) courageously and honestly assessed your physical health – and you did something about it! This morning I am asking you to incorporate that same courage and honesty to evaluate your spiritual health. You’ll be glad you did!

Love,

Pastor Todd
